Gift vouchers are non-refundable. If you are not purchasing a gift voucher for the full amount, the recipient will be responsible for the balance. I would suggest ensuring they are wanting a shoot with us or have already booked one in and so you are helping with the balance.

Options available include:

1. Validity Period

   • Gift vouchers are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase, as required by Australian Consumer Law, unless specified otherwise under a special exemption.
   • The expiration date is clearly stated on the voucher.

2. Non-Refundable

   • Gift vouchers are non-refundable, except where required by law, such as cases of faulty goods or services.

3. Lost or Stolen Vouchers

   • Treat gift vouchers like cash. Lost, stolen, or damaged vouchers will not be replaced or refunded.

4. Redemption

   • Gift vouchers are redeemable for goods or services offered by Writing with Light Photography.
   • They cannot be exchanged for cash or other vouchers unless required by law.
   • Any unused balance remains on the voucher and is not exchangeable for cash.

5. Partial Use

   • If the total amount of the purchase exceeds the value of the gift voucher, the remaining balance must be paid by the client at the time of purchase.
   • If the full value is not used in one transaction, the remaining balance can be used in subsequent transactions until the voucher expires.

6. Exclusions

   • Gift vouchers may not be used for certain promotional offers, discounts, or sales unless otherwise stated.

7. Change of Terms

   • Writing with Light Photography reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions at any time, but any changes will not affect existing vouchers already purchased.

8. Compliance with Australian Consumer Law

   • These terms and conditions are subject to Australian Consumer Law. If a voucher is deemed invalid or faulty due to our error, customers may be entitled to a replacement or refund.

9. Delivery

   • For digital vouchers, it is the customer’s responsibility to provide a correct email address. For physical vouchers, shipping charges (if any) will be disclosed at checkout.
   • We can arrange a digital delivery of a printable voucher is needed - please request this. 

10. Fraud Prevention

• Writing with light photography reserves the right to cancel any voucher that appears to have been tampered with, altered, or fraudulently obtained.
