Is a mini right for us checklist;

*I am prepared to read all of the information below and check with the studio if I have any questions before booking the appointment.

*My Children are ok around new people.

*My Children are ok in a fast paced environment with lots going on.

(If you have a child with sensory needs or autism for example, please get in touch so we can accommodate.

*I understand that children won't look at the camera and smile at times and I am ok with that!

*I understand that children do not always want to participate and I can maintain my calm and use my indoor voice, even outside.

*I can wait for the photographer to ask for assistance before calling at my child/ren and giving them direction.

*I understand that the photographer will decide on the final collection of images and they are selected because they are the best options.

PARTICIPANTS - Mini sessions are a short, faced paced session that allow us to offer you themed sessions throughout the year, for this reason mini sessions may not suit all families. If your child does not warm up to people quickly or will not want to leave your side, we do suggest you join them in the session. Children that cannot sit up on their own will require an adult or older child to support them - please ensure older sibling are able to do so or parents will need to join the session. Please book back to back sessions if you are wanting to try an extended family session however there are limits on how many people will fit on the sets.

ILLNESS POLICY - DO NOT COME IF YOU ARE SICK - Please consider our health, the health of our families and the health of everyone that comes in after you. We will cancel your session on the spot if you arrive clearly unwell. 

 

IMAGES - Images will be delivered via digital download (dropbox), we use the email you give us while booking. The images chosen by the photographer are final and due to the nature of digital images we do not exchange the images. Not all images will have kids looking at the camera and smiling.  We DO NOT keep the best captures a secret; I promise.

TURNAROUND - We do ALOT of sessions over the weekend of shooting. We WILL NOT be answering messages while shooting or responding to requests for urgent delivery of the images.  Quality takes time. We will be closed the Monday after shooting and you will need to allow 10 days from your session to receive the dropbox folder.

TIMING - Each session is a strict 15 minutes in duration with a 5-minute buffer between clients for us to clean and reset. If you are late the time is taken off your session time. If your children are uncooperative, we cannot shoot past your scheduled shooting time. If you do not arrive to your session your deposit is forfeited and there will be no re-scheduling.

LOCATION - If shooting on location, we will select the best spot on the day based on the light. We cannot guarantee a certain area will be the best spot at the specific time of your session. Please keep this in mind and be flexible on your expectations. In the event of bad weather, rain or wind, we will postpone to another date. Please note I am yest to harness the ability to control the weather! I'm still trying though.

 

SETS - Is shooting in the studio. There may be some changes made to the backgrounds between now and the sessions as we find additional elements for the overall look. Please do not ask us for additional set, alternate sets or to add in some birthday images too.

SESSIONS - Bookings are for family units (Parents and their kids), 2 consecutive sessions can be purchased if you want to try cousins together (for grandparents) but there are limitations on the size of the sets.

 

OUTFITS - Due to time restrictions there are no outfit changes. We suggest earthy tones, blue, greens or tans or whites. Avoid headwear (headbands, hats etc..) that are not secure on the head or on young kids that don't like wearing them. Happy kids take happy photos. Long pants on kids that tend to be covered in bruises and scratches are best! You will need to arrive ALREADY DRESSED, any time taken to dress children will be taken from your session. Wear easy to remove shoes as the studio is a shoe free zone. Bare feet look better than socks! If you like the look of the display images, you will want similar tones to the outfits, avoid a lot of patterns. The studio is shoe free so please wear easy to remove shoes and socks.

RESHOOTS and REFUNDS - We will ONLY offer a reshoot or refund where the fault lies with the studio - Equipment not working for example. We DO NOT offer reshoots or refunds because you do not like your Childs expression. Please have a conversion with them about expressions if they are old enough to control their facial expressions.

PAYMENTS - Payment of the balance of your chosen package is due at the session. Cash and EFTPOS is available.

EDITING - We do not edit chipped nails/nail polish, dirty finger nails or feet or regrowth on hair. We do not add or remove make-up or change colour of lipstick/ eyeshadow or outfits. Ensure outfits are clean as are faces. Additional costs for editing will be charged if any of the above or similar are requested. Ability to edit to your request will be determined on an image by image bases, not everything is doable.

LIBABILTY - We do not guarantee your child's participation or willingness to smile at the camera or the degree of smile- Please limit your expectations to your child's natural temperament and their attitude on the day, the same is applicable for adult participants. Refunds and reshoots will not be given due to lack of participation or enthusiasm or dislike of your child's facial expression. The images sent to you by the photographer are the best choices, we DO NOT hold back on giving you the best images. You can change your mind at the session on the package you are purchasing but all payments are final.
